Most holidaymakers who visit the Zillertal in winter come for skiing and snowboarding. There are a total of four skiing areas, that entice with modern lifts and many kilometres of slopes. The largest skiing area is the Zillertal Arena, where there are 143 kilometres of pistes and 52 lifts that provide variety and fun. All skiing areas can be reached quickly and easily. Our Hotel and Apart are located DIRECTLY at the ski bus stop and also 25 km from the Hintertux Glacier, our summer skiing area, which offers modern lifts and numerous facilities as well as guaranteed snow until May.
But there is also a lot to experience off the slopes in winter in the Zillertal. For example, you can enjoy the snow-covered landscape on a winter hike or take a horse-drawn carriage ride through the villages. Cross-country skiing, tobogganing, ice skating and many other winter activities are widely represented and offer a lot of variety and fun.
